Atiku Leads PDP Protest In Abuja, March To INEC Office 2023

 The PDP presidential candidate had on Thursday slammed INEC over the conduct of the elections, saying the umpire's inability to upload results on IReV is a "rape of democracy".


On Monday, the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) organized a demonstration in Abuja to protest against the outcome of the February 25 poll. The protest was held at the national headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and was attended by top members of the party including the PDP flag bearer, Atiku Abubakar, the party's National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, the Vice Presidential Candidate and Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, and other party leaders. The protest involved the leaders wearing black uniforms.


Also present at the protest were Udom Emmanuel, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State and the Chairman of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), as well as Aminu Tambuwal, the Governor of Sokoto State and Director General of the PCC.
